FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. Along with supporting single-channel recordings, AutoScript can transcribe multichannel recordings from Zoom, Reporter Studio PRO, and For The Record (FTR). Simply upload the file and then let AutoScript do the rest of the work.

In addition, AutoScript can process .tmr files as well as video files in the following formats: .webm, MTS, .M2TS, .TS, .mov, .mp4, .m4p (with DRM), .m4v, and .mxf. The ASR also transcribes the following audio inputs: .3ga, .aac, .ac3, .aif, .aiff, .alac, .amr, .ape, .au, .dss, .flac, .flv, .m4a, .m4b, .m4p, .mp3, .mpga, .ogg, .oga, .mogg, .opus, .qcp, .tta, .voc, .wav, .wma, and .wv.

Once AutoScript has completed the audio transcription, you will receive three different versions of the transcript ready for download. You have options for a DOCX, RTF, or TXT file that is delivered in an easy-to-read format and ready for production as a rough draft.

PRICING INFORMATION

AutoScript is available at a cost-effective price of $15 per audio hour. When an audio file is uploaded to the platform, AutoScript runs a calculation on the audio length and provides you with upfront pricing. You can then decide if you want to move forward with downloading the transcribed audio.

VoiceScript offers each new subscriber their first three transcript files for free as a trial version. During this time, you have full access to all of the features, and your account will automatically convert to the paid version when you upload your fourth file.

Absolutely not. AutoScript is available on a pay-per-use model, which relieves you from investing in expensive transcription equipment. Only use it when you want and pay for what you use. You will never have to pay for a monthly or annual plan or commit to a minimum hourly usage.
